Professional Design2017-Present
The projects listed here summarize some of the major efforts I have worked on during my two years as a mechanical engineer in a professional setting. My work is split between projects done at Aavid Thermalloy; a manufacturer of thermal solutions, and BittWare; an electronics design company specializing in unique FPGA electronics. At BittWare I designed a wind tunnel as a project development and analysis tool. I also led efforts to integrate liquid cooling technology into BittWare products. At Aavid I functioned as a thermal design consultant for various customers, including military-aerospace and consumer electronics. |
Undergraduate Design2013-2017
I completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Boston University. The Underwater 3D printer was a project for my product design class. It was a great example of developing a comprehensive design from concept to analysis and initial prototyping. The Hybrid VTOL drone was done as my senior design capstone and involved extensive, detailed design work. |
Previous Works2009-2015
In high school, I was a member of a FIRST Robotics team. We participated in annual robot design competitions. This was a foundational experience that began my exposure to STEM disciplines and helped prepare me for an engineering curriculum at a university. During this time I also participated in a design class taught at MIT by Professor Alexander Slocum. |
